Kodak Gallery is an online photo printing service from one of the most trusted names in photography. The website makes it easy to upload, organize, edit, print, and share your digital photos.

Using the Site
Opening an account with Kodak’s online service is free, and comes with 20 free photo prints. After your free prints are used up, the price stands at a not-too-shabby 15¢ per 4×6 print. The page has a simple process for uploading photos from your computer: just click “Add Pictures” and select which photos you want. You can even provide your mobile number to upload photos from your cell phone. Kodak also offers its EasyShare software to make organizing and uploading fast and convenient. Once your pictures are uploaded you can invite friends and family (via email) to view them online.

Kodak Gallery also offers free editing tools, both on the website and with EasyShare. These allow you to color, crop, and enhance your photos, both for sharing online and for printing. Kodak Gallery’s shop includes such items as t-shirts, calendars, cards, and invitations, all of which can feature your photos.

Kodak Gallery has an “active member” storage policy. You can upload as many photos as you like and the site will store them as long as you are an active member. To remain an active member you must make a purchase from Kodak Gallery at least once every twelve months. The 12-month free storage period restarts with each purchase.

Ordering Prints
Kodak Gallery makes it easy to order your prints. Just select an album, check your photos, and add them to your cart. You can choose size, quantity for each photo, and matte or glossy finish for the whole order.

We ordered our prints on a Wednesday using standard shipping (3-10 business days), and received the order on the following Tuesday. We ordered 20 prints and the shipping cost was $2.15. The packaging consisted of a sturdy cardboard envelope with a thick paper inner envelope, so our photos were well-protected from the hazards of shipping.

Print Quality
We were quite pleased with the prints we received from Kodak Gallery. They had good color and clarity, even after comparison with prints from other services. The cropping was also much more accurate than most other services. The photos were printed on Kodak Perfect Touch paper.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Kodak Gallery. The website is easy to use, the prints were great quality, and the store offers plenty of unique gift items.
